Can Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy be played on windows 10?
I have bought a pc-dvd rom copy of Psi-Ops and the minimum specs for an operating system is only for 98SE/ME/2000/XP, but not on windows 10. I even went out on a limb as to downloading Dos-Box in order to run the executable file, but it says that "This program cannot be run in DOS mode". Do I need to use another computer with an older operating system in order for the game to work? What do I do?

It uses a very old version of StarForce DRM. A little research suggests that you might be able to get it running under Vista but nothing later than that.

Your best option is to set up VMWare and install a virtual machine with that which runs Windows 98SE. A lot of the time, that's basically what you have to do in order to play a lot of older games. Course, in the case of Windows 95 some madman actually made a Windows 95 Emulator. So that might work if it can run on Windows 95. Otherwise, you'd essentially need a computer that runs that OS. Best you can do, I suppose.
