cosa vuol dire? che non posso chiedere il rimborso dopo averlo comprato? come mai?
So , max 14 days since purchase, not played longer then 2 hours.
What you are waiving away by buying on Steam are your regional refund rules for digital goods.
Like for example in the EU its 14 days without any restrictions.
When you buy on Steam you explicitly give away your rights to those refund laws and accept Steam´s.
Which is completely legal btw and all the digital game clients do it.
True, but if you do it too often they may revoke your refund rights.
So it should only be used in serious cases like a game not working right.
Btw, if you just want to try out Sea of Thieves, its on the Xbox PC Gamepass.
Currently available for 1 dollar/euro a month to try out.
And you can play the game ( and about a hundred others) for 30 days without restrictions.
May be a better way to try it out then the 2 hours on Steam and having to buy it.
Do it enough times and you WILL get a warning. As you were already told, refunds are not a demo system. Steam is paying for it, so they are monitoring for abuse and will take action.
You buying a game with the intention to refund it anyway is clearly an abuse. Steam doesn't read forum posts to "AI" publically announced refund abuses, but it's an abuse nonetheless.
No one here is stopping you from doing anything. They are explaining that if you routinely buy games to try them out, then refund them for whatever reason, eventually Steam will stop you from claiming any refunds. Even if you only ever ask for refunds within the time limits (14 days, 2 hours played), regularly refunding can still result in a ban from the refund system. If you want to risk your account that way, that is your business but people are explaining how the system works - no need to get in a huff.
