Will Steam save my progress in offline mode?

We are moving to a new house and I will be without internet for about 1-2 weeks and will have to play games offline. My question is, will Steam save all of my game progress and achievements while I'm offline for that long?

Thanks for the help man. I'll just hold off on achievement hunting for awhile.

Yeah it does usually sync progress when you connect to the internet, but I do not know about achievements.

Will you change Computers? Cause if so without proper backup of the steam u may lose save games.... But if u will keep the same pc steam will Hold progress just fine even the achievements (as long as the achievement of the game don't require internet connection) some achievements may be programmed to check something external like get score on leaderboards or something but other than that they would trigger fine offline and once you are online again they would update in you profile as long as the achievement trigger steam will store it and update when online again, So don't worry about it unless you will change pc too.
