Steam launches games in lowest resolution?

This applies to all games in my library except for Fnaf 1 and Bendy and the Ink Machine, but all other games in my library launch at the lowest resolution and I have to manually fix the resolution by leaving the game and going to settings, how do I fix this?

What games exactly have that problem? Try updating your GPU drivers just in case

-Fnaf Ultimate Custom Night
-Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

These games have this issue on my pc, Fnaf 1 is a weird example, as it starts in my monitors lowest resolution before almost immediately changing back to whatever resolution I had before.

I’ll check and see if I can update my drivers, hopefully that fixes it.

In general Steam doesn't control the graphics configurations of games, especially non-Valve games. These are managed by the games itself internal to itself. Lots of games may default to lowest settings or some low default and you have to set them individually. You should generally only need to do this once as the configuration for that game is stored somewhere, possible along side the save games.
