why is my item being on hold for 8 days after trade

how the ♥♥♥♥ was i arguing? steam support says the hold is 7 day, its actually 8 day for me so i asked a question, why the ♥♥♥♥ are you giving useless info and then saying im trying to argue with you?

Just wait for the hold to expire. The system works fine. The confusion is just around timezones.

instead of feeling inferior and thinking that people are mocking you. i seen so many threads like yours, when can i trade if its on trade lock for x amount time, when can i trade it or whatever the case, plain english the system pretty much tells you, and to think that it is any other way. aka impatient

and yes i was aware of the timezone difference, both the times i gave above were from the same time zone,i received it at around 7 or 8 am july 10th gmt and now it says its tradable after 7:00 july 18th gmt,i simply wanted to know why this is, is it because i received it after 7 that it got rounded to the next day? but apparently youre not allowed to make questions in steam discussions forum about something thats implemented by steam.
