Anyway to Turn Off Friends Popping up in Bottom Right Corner While Idol?

I have steam open because I check discussions and talk to friends pretty often on my laptop when I'm out and about. However, especially at school, having one of my friends named "Big Daddy Rooster" playing "Genital Jousting" popping up for all behind me to see is slightly, uh, not okay.

Anyone know a way to turn this off? Specifically on just my laptop but not on my computer, if possible?

True. These settings are " account " specific, regardless of what you log in on.

And oof. Okay so I have to choose. Do I want my instuctor to one day notice that Big Daddy Rooster is playing Genital Jousting? If not then I will have to sacrifice to ease of being able to see what people are doing on my main computer. Damn.

2022 here, you can just switch the notis before and after school. That easy.
