Report a translation problem
If save game files are stored locally, on your system, copy and transfer them to where they would be located for the other platform. Though I don't see the point in purchasing the game on different platforms.....unless it's on offer for a good price ofcourse.

@OP If you have R6 on a Uplay account that is linked to your Steam it may cause issues. As faux said ask in the R6 forums. Don't quote me but if you were to buy it on Steam and you have issues because you have it on a linked Uplay account you should still be able to refund it. Not like the Uplay versions playtime will being showing on Steam to affect a refund request.
