Nope. Achievements and the games are linked with platform purchased on. So you'd also need to make sure to buy and DLC on the same platform.

If save game files are stored locally, on your system, copy and transfer them to where they would be located for the other platform. Though I don't see the point in purchasing the game on different platforms.....unless it's on offer for a good price ofcourse.

i bought the game for like 5$ on uplay but i perfer playing on steam so thats why. And i have my steam and uplay linked with eachother or does that haven't any effect?

If you buy it on Steam it'll work on Steam, no need to even load Uplay. So having it on Uplay already shouldn't make any difference.

@fauxtronic Good point. I was completely forgetting Uplay games would still require its launcher.

@OP If you have R6 on a Uplay account that is linked to your Steam it may cause issues. As faux said ask in the R6 forums. Don't quote me but if you were to buy it on Steam and you have issues because you have it on a linked Uplay account you should still be able to refund it. Not like the Uplay versions playtime will being showing on Steam to affect a refund request.

Yes, your progress will still be there as it's tied to your Uplay account itself which you will still be using on Steam.

There's even a guide for this, although it's not really complicated.
