Steam Games install location
Im quite new to having a PC and recently a mate of mine told me that i can also install games on my D drive.

My question is can i have steam games installed on both the c drive and the d drive? or do i need to install them all in the same area?

You can install games anywhere you want. The default location is here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common

You can choose a location to install a game when it the installation wizard shows up :D

So currently id like to pre-load (install) the new assasins creed game. And it says Create or Select new Steam Library folder. Do I need to have a folder labeled steam or can it be labeled anything and steam will figure it out?
When you click install you will be prompted with a installation window and on it is a dropdown. Click on it and it will have the option to create a new folder. Once selected a new little box will pop up and then just select a folder or drive where you want the new folder to be created and click "new folder". Then a new folder will be added and click ok then simply click next to proceed with your installation :D
