Don't pay for that.
Here you are complaining about the price for a game when you throw away money on an idling site...
https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/10/2747650363469674646/
but that would be purely something personal if i would feel my playtime on steam looks way too low compared to the time i actually played a game (like i got 193 hours in ff13 , i had like 5 files between 20-60 hours until i finally beat the game , and then i had a 270 hour file in which i got 100% which took me over 2 years
but paying money to get 10.000 hour boosted , it wont make you look pro or anything, it will just be obvious you idled , if you feel the need to idle , just leave your pc on over night a few days and leave a game running ( not sure if you can leave multiple games run minimized or if only one would add playtime )
if you leave X amount of games running for a week you get 168 hours and it wont cost you any money
also paying for what you can get free, kek
people sometimes
Wait a second. He's paying to have his game idled??? I'm getting too old, I dont understand todays youth anymore.
Yeah.
His other thread just makes me wonder about his priorities.
Total cost for my PC to run 24/7 is 60 dollars a year. I run my PC at most 4 hours a day.
By not using the free resources which require my PC is to be on 24/7 I save up to 50 dollars a year. So I think it’s a worth while investment
if you cant even afford to run your pc 24/7 do you really think you are veteran like , first of all , veterans usually are guys who have been part of something for a long time , you havent even been a year on steam , also ,
according to steamdb (if i read it right) you have been on steam for 0.3 years ( so 4 months ) , you only played 18 out of your 58 games and got an account value of $243-$813
instead of paying a service that idles games for you , why not invest that money in switching to a better electricity provider ?
if you idle hours no one will care , i got a friend who idled thousands of hours in the final fantasy 13 trilogy , while it looks impressive , everyone knows its idled ( partly because he or she had like 300 hours in the last 2 weeks , which means they would have had played non stop for 2 weeks ( or maybe it was even over the hour limit in 2 weeks because they idled multiple games at once)
also , another down side of idling games , if you have 1000 hours in a game and dont even have a single achievement , people will make comments like "that first room of the game sure is pretty but maybe you should move on and actually play the game further"
your time in the last two weeks time will give it away until 2 weeks after you stop idling
idling is fine but dont pay for it lol
How much better can it get than 60 $ a year for fulltime computer running a game?
Thats less than 20 cent a day.
And why would it need investment, if the goal is to save?
