The internal browser is terribly lagging.
Hi. When you go to the internal browser Steam, start lag just slide show. The performance monitor shows 100% GPU load. I have no discrete graphics card on Board. But why the browser loads GPU is not clear. i3-8100 8Гб DDR4, SSD.

Steam > Settings > Enable Hardware Acceleration

Might help to ensure you installed the latest GPU Driver as well:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27988
^ Click on win64_24.20.100.6286.exe ~ Install and then Restart Windows

Well that was more to do with ones like Firefox or Chrome; its different.
Overall, if having stuttering issues, and that hardware acceleration is off; then yes try it with this enabled and see if it helps.

After enable this, it should ask to Restart Steam after clicking OK to Apply it.
After that is done yes dump the temp junk... those options are also in Steam Settings.

Do them one at a time, as after clicking OK it will want to restart the client again.

I only use the Steam client for friendlist and library. I recommend using your actual browser if you want to peruse the forums, store or community. It's much faster.

From time to time I buy things for the characters in Dota 2, and the lags drive me crazy. When the cursor is not accessible normally because of the delays in the response of 2 sec.

Here exactly the problem is clear. The internal browser is part of the game's graphical interface. And shamelessly eats the resources of the GPU, which speaks of a non-optimized version of the internal browser. Either it should be made native and displays from the GUI or optimized for normal operation. Well, in extreme cases would give the opportunity to open the store window in the user's browser.

Yeah the steam ingame browser is not the gretest, its never been that good either, Always end up freezing it up on some sites, or its painfully slow sometimes.

Overwolf with its Browser ingame is actully really good, Game could suddenly crash and the Overwolfs Browser is still on your desktop showing what you were looking at, Open the game back up and its still where you left it. But Overwolf has its own problems and it don't work in every game.

Steam tends to run better/smoother with a good Skin also.
