Installing DLC's Fallout 4

I just bought the Season Pass for all the DLC's and at the last page of the purchase I clicked the install button. When I went back to my Library all the DLC's are there uninstalled, only the Season Pass was installed. How do I go about downloading and installling them.
I went back into the Store and it shows I purchased them, so I am confused.

DLC is installed automatically. If Steam forgets to do that you should be able to enforce it by starting the game, which would initiate an "update", which would be the download and installation of the DLC in question.

When you select 'Fallout 4' in your client, how does DLC section looks? Are all items ticked (meaning the packages are installed)? Have you checked if the stuff added by the DLCs is present in the game?

The first one is the Season Pass which is highlighted, ticked and installed and Added Today. All the other ones are greyed out, not installed, ticked and Added Today in the last column. So if they are ticked out should I unticked them and try the install.
In the Data section of the File none of the DLC's are there. There is something downloading presently I will go and see.

If something is downloading for Fallout 4 it must be the DLC.

The game is updating some 6GB and the timer indicates 45 min before downloading is complete so most likely it is all the DLC's coming in. Thaks both of you for the help, hopefully everything will be fine now .

FYI, I had this same problem (February 2018); the only way I could get it to update was to uncheck and recheck all of the DLC on the game page in my Library, close Steam, restart, and then go to the Library tab, Downloads, and manually click the download icon. In the end, not a big deal, but weird that out of over 50 games Bethesda is the only game company I have to monkey with stuff to get to work on Steam.

**Sorry for the necro, but there were only a couple posts for this, and as the DLC just went on sale, I figured there might be more people searching on this topic; the above might help most people, but here's the last step for those that simply toggling the install boxes didn't get going.

Usually, a restart of the client auto triggers the update.
