About USER ACCOUNT when you have a console and a computer.
I currently play Borderlands 2 using a PC. HAve one Steam account for many years.
I haave two questions if I decide to buy a Console in order to play the same game:

One : Do I have to have a separate Steam Account for the Console?
Two : If I can use my same old account...will I have to start from 0 on Borderlands 2
using the Console ??

or I will be able to keep all the progress I made with the PC .

Steam is PC only. You want a game on a console that you already own on PC you'll have to buy it again with the exception of SOME games on the Windows Store.

The progress you have made will not transfer over from one to the other.
1. there is no steam account for consoles.

2. refer to #1.

Thanks for the answer...but I need a bit of clarification please.
When you say I will have to buy it...you are referring that I need to buy the Game itself which I can download from the Steam Store correct?...
You are not saying that I need to buy one of the consoles that Steam has available for sale.
And my old Steam Account will be good for both devices?

If you buy an Xbox or PS4, you will have no Steam account on them. Period. You'll have an XBL or PSN account.

Steam is entirely PC only with the sole exception of users who linked Portal 2 when it was first released.

You are possibly confusing Steam Machines with consoles. Those are pre-built PCs loaded with SteamOS.
OK...now I get it...thanks.
