Not showing friends in friends playing a game currently.

I play dota 2 and in "friends playing this game currently" section i cannot find some friends names and even they cant find my name in that section. in "friends tab" i can see them playing dota 2 but i cant see them in "friends playing dota 2 right now". and even in steam friends it doesn't show few names. is this some bug or what? i cant even see them when i open in browser.

it is not a problem cause of steam client. the same is happening in browser also.

no. been searching since 2 months and sill didnt find any solution. RIP steam.

I was searching for a solution and discovered that if you completely log out from Steam and then log back in, your friends begin to appear, except for those who have set their hours to private. It's important to fully log out, not switch accounts. I suspected some cache issue within Steam, tried logging out completely, and it worked for me.
