I do find it a bit weird that steam is going with this new system.
If i buy a disc copy of a game, i can sell it later if i wanted on ebay or something.
Not sure why steam is so restricted now.
I know PC games use keys.
Basically. the publishers don't like the used market since it more or less cannibalizes their revenue.
No need to necro to say that. The money is wither auto refunded or the payment dropped off the statement.
if steam, the purchase would be refunded to the method of payment
if another site, you are on your own. take it up with that sites support, they are not allowed to sell steam game gifts.
1. The site you used is not authorized to sell steam game gifts
2. If you want a refund, you need to talk to whatever scam site you used. And yes, it was a scam site
3, Steam games no longer create inventory items you can trade/gift. it got abused to much.
if you try to post its name, it will most likely get filtered (do not bypass the filters)
