Steamcmd and Workshop Items
Now with the steamcmd there is the option of +workshop_download_item and you give it the game ID and the workshop mod ID

Is there a way to specify multiple workshop item IDs?

It would be nice to be able to update a dedicated server's mods with one steamcmd being issued for all the workshop items you need to download/update.

Generally speaking if you were to create a list of workshop items on the workshop itself that workshop list would have an ID. I don't know if this is yet integrated but this would be the most simple way of doing it without deep knowledge of the scripting language.

Oh this helped thanks..

Was able to generate a file that I could then run with steamcmd +runscript that would update all the mods without having to run steamcmd for each individual mod!

Years later, but would you mind sharing your script, and how you generated the mod list?
This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
