Blue Yeti sounds bad
Hey ! I don't know why, but my blue yeti sounds like crap. I need to use voicemeeter to help it sounding better. I'm using windows 10. I have a 3 months old pc and everything is fine with it.

Please help !

There are multiple tweaks.

1. Get Blue Yeti proprietary drivers from manufacturer.
2. Right click the tiny speaker avatar in right lower end of the screen and choose sound, then change the Yeti to default recording device and change it to 192kHz 24bit.
3. Disable the Blue Yeti in playback devices (unless you have headphones plugged into it).
4. Set to cardioid profile on the selector.
5. Set gain to just above halfway or to whatever sounds good on the monitoring.
6. On Teamspeak and SteamVR or whatever you use enable mic monitoring, that way you can adjust levels so teammates wont go deaf.
7. USE PTT ie push to talk, it is the best way, assign a button on the controller to it.
8. Make sure it is mounted away from main rig, which will vibrate.
