Steam won't let me sell items on the market.

Okay, so I'm trying to sell an item from PUBG on the market, but it said that I need to wait 7 days, or something like, for a hold to go away because I don't have steam guard. But I read elsewhere that you can just go on your email and confirm the sell. I did that and it's just taking me to the same page. I honestly don't know how the market works, way too complicated. Someone please tell me how to get rid of the hold please.

You can sell things. You must wait, though. That's a security measure in place for a reason.

So when the wait period is over with, do I just use my phone for now on when trading on the market to avoid the holds? Or, will there always be a hold for each transaction? If the hold is a constant thing, that's pretty lame. I did recieve an email saying that I could bypass the hold by confirming that I'm the one who setup the Sell Listing, but everytime I hit an option it just takes me to the page that told me there's a hold in the first place. Is there no way around the wait period?
