Windows 2000 Support?
I have a pc that has windows 2000. I maxed it out with 2gb ddr ram, a 512mb graphics card, for a few cd games i had from a while back. It does connect to the internet and will download games and has a 40 gb hdd space available. I'm looking to see if i can install steam, and what list of steam games have support for windows 2000. Just trying to give some extra life to my old system. Thanks!

For Steam...

System Requirements

Windows XP, Vista, or 7
512 MB RAM
1 Ghz or faster processor

Intel Mac, OS X version 10.7 (Lion), or later.
Two-button mouse strongly recommended

1GB HD space (recommended)
Internet connection (broadband recommended)

Is there a legacy version of steam, or a workaround? If not that's ok.

I'm not sure about that. Someone here may know that.

There is no legacy version of Steam. Valve has only two public versions of Steam, stable and public beta.
Both do not run on Windows 2000.
