Asus b350-f beeping once then 3 short

Need help asap

Asus b350-f turns on but beeps one then 3 very fast beeps

One continuous beep followed by three short beeps = No VGA detected.

It doesn't detect a GPU.

Dose it need a gpu and nah it's one fast and 3 fast

But I could be wrong it's stressing me out I just had to wait for brand new ram

Are you also having video issues? That error typically is an issue with video card, but some BIOS use that code to indicate RAM issues.

Looks like the mobo has on-board video, you can try pulling the card and use the on-board and see if it fixes the issues.

Yes you need a dedicated GPU unless you bought a APU (which would be a idiotic purchase).

Ryzen CPUs don't have a integrated GPU.

Motherboards contains video connectors even if the used CPU doesnt have one. AM4 mobos are also compatible with A12 which have a iGPU.

You don't really lose anything, integrated solutions are pretty much low end, not suitable for gaming at all.

Yes; Ryzen CPUs have no onboard GPU unless your are specifically using an APU model.
