Hope you realize the "lifetime" meant is the game. If the game goes down, so does your premium account. That is pretty much standard in any pure online game.
Then don't purchase games made by them anymore.
Let this simply be a lesson, you're way too serious over a $15 purchase.
Sorry kiddo, it doesn't work that way. Maybe you don't mind saying "meh" but I do. My time is limited, as is my wallet. If I give YOU my momey on a promise, I expect you to keep it. It might only be $15 but I'll make a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for them and that company. Nobody mugs me in the street and walks away.
Are you a troll? It doesn't MATTER your position on this, raise hell for them all you want, Steam has no obligation to give you a refund, just because you can't accept that doesn't mean it's not correct. I've bought multiple games in the past that quite literally do not work anymore, server and all, but you don't see me witch hunting. No, I simply told people to report it and moved on with my life.
Grow up.
If their game went under, im pretty sure they have more to worry about than one disgruntled customer. Like where their next rent payment is going to come from...
But good luck with your crusade.
The "subscription" in this case referring to games on the storefront
If you are serious about persuing a refund, as others have already said, you need to take that up with the publisher. Steam outlines pretty clearly that you are not obligated to anything.
im doubtful OP will do any of such, everybody is using the lawsuit as a magical word but never took upon it because they probably puzzle together that using big words over a forum is less risky than actually challenging a perfectly legitimate Tos in a court of Law
apart being a very unlikable and rude person, i can tell you have no clue on what you are even talking about.
The fact that you are comparing not being use a software to being mugged is highly odd, not to say ridiculous
Btw OP talking down and belitering people usually isnt something that is endorsed
If your getting your knickers into this big of a twist then do a charge back and be done with it.
