Redeem key in different region

I purchased Humble bundle for Civilization 6 when I was visiting Asia. I activated it and it's an Asia locked key. Now I get back in US and couldn't played it so I contacted Humble and they issued me a new key.

The problem I'm facing now is Steam doesn't let me redeem this key since I already have the game in my library. I found a link to remove the game permanently from library, but that will remove some DLCs too. Humble didn't issue me new key for DLC so I don't want to go this route.

Is there any way to just replace the old Asia key with the new one I received? Also, is there any way to contact Steam customer service directly?

I have just bought MOrtal Kombat 11 from a known 3rd party key seller, and it said in the description GLOBAL.

When i tried to redeem the key, it was successful, but it mentioned ( RU/CIS) after the game.

I am now downloading the game but might take me 4 days to complete download since I have limited internet.

Question is: If the game was activated and is now in my library, is there a chance I will be able to play it in a couple days, or will I have to wait 3 months?

If you could activate and install it there is no region lock. Will work like any other game you own.
The (RU/CIS) can mean its a retail copy from one of the countries in that region but not all of those have a region lock.

If you could activate and install it there is no region lock. Will work like any other game you own.

Thank you so much for the fast reply :) ......Well, after activation, and i am now downloading, there are now some files created in the Download section, under MK11.....so I guess I wont have a problem installing the full game after the download is completed right?

Also what about the language, I fear it will be in Russian lol

A region locked key would not even activate and give you a error. At the latest when you are trying to download it would say something like " This game version is from a region you are not currently present in". and refuse to download/install.

As for language, there are actually some publishers that have language locked versions for the Russian market but thats mainly Ubisoft and Activision so you should be fine.
