how do i run ancient DirectX versions on Windows 10 ?
really want to play some Rayman 3 but it says i need Direct x 8.1 or higher ( i have 12)

( i know i should ask ubisoft that question but i guess they dont know it)

The game probably includes any DX redistributables you need. but you can download the DX web installer above which includes all versions up to 9.0c.

install DirectX 9.0c Runtime + enable DirectPlay in Windows components + run game in compatibility mode Win 2k \ XP + Run as Administrator - maybe it work...

it tells me that i already have a newer version of dx
