Water damage to computer desk, mouse is inaccurate...
So I recently reoriented my computer desk for my new build however this puts my mousepad right where I had sat my drinks for over 10 years. Where the wood has swelled from the water it has left little bumps, I tried sanding it but could not get it perfectly smooth.

Any recommendations on a mouse pad that will contour to these bumps? All the ones I've tried raise up a bit with the bump and it causes my mouse to be horribly inaccurate when playing anything.

I doubt any mousepad will have such soft bottom because it would disrupt the mouse normally. So you'll just have keep using that sandpaper to flatten the surface out. Not sure if you have more tools for wood working but if you have that large metal tool that will flatten a wood panel by slicing off thin layers of wood at time.

That tool. It might work.

But at the moment I have a rather thick mousepad which has a soft rubber underside and even my work card is felt through it.
