[H1Z1] -Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Platform Update.

Hi, I installed H1Z1 on Win7, but it recommended me a patch called *Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Platform Update*, I downloaded it, installed it, then I got this message *This update is not applicable to your computer*, I tried everything, nothing worked. I refunded the game, then I bought it again after couple of hours..
I installed Win10, before I download H1Z1 again, I went immediately to the patch Win7 Service Pack 1, then I got the same error *This update is not applicable to your computer*. I'm downloading the game again right now, but I dont know if it needs the patch anymore, cos I have Win10, I just tried the patch before downloading the game.
. Help.

*Run this program in compatibility mode for : Windows 8* thats what I found, there is no Win 10

But besides Steam, why Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Platform Update isnt working for me ? Is it cos I have Win10 ?

Obviously, an update or Windows 7 can't be installed on Windows 10. That's actually pretty logical.

Obviously, an update or Windows 7 can't be installed on Windows 10. That's actually pretty logical.

I asked a friend of mine who uses Win10 to install the patch, he told me that he got this *This update is already installed* or something like that, so why I dont have it on my computer?

Because the update adds some stuff to Windows 7 which Windows 8 and 10 contain out-of-the-box.
