Bought them myself at the store (phisical stores), at a Media Markt (according to FAQ, it is an official saler)

Make sure you're typing the code in correctly, wait a few hours and try again, and if it still doesn't work you should contact Steam Support and the retailer you bought it from.

You should also have an accompanying paper-based receipt showing that the retailer activated the card on their till. This is a countermeasure against internal fraud and theft. If they haven't activated the card; it will not work when redeeming on Steam. You may need to visit the shop again if they cannot prove they have activated it as this will need to be done for it to work.
