Report a translation problem
If it doesn't work, the best solution I know so far is to reinstall Steam, it works 99% of the time for people:
Go into your Steam Directory (default is C:\Program Files unless otherwise specified during the installation).
Press Ctrl + A at the same time.
Press Ctrl + LeftMouseButton on the following folder and file: "steamapps" (The folder which contains all your games, software within the Steam Client) and "Steam.exe", the client executable itself.
After installing Steam, it may appear as if you don't have any games installed, select to download the games you had installed and during the Memory Allocation, the message will turn into "Detecting existing files..." and you'll be able to play.

Someone from Valve should pin a thread at the top so we at least know they are working on it..
