Can I cancel a report?

I feel really bad for reporting my friend. He had said that he reported me, and I foolishly reported him in a joke for "he reported me". He then told me that he never actually reported me, and he got really upset and mad. I know this report won't do anything, but I just want to be able to tell him I took it back. Let me know if it's possible. Thanks.

no one knows if he was kidding or no but if you reported him nothing will happen cause he did nothing.

It's a false report (as mentioned above) ... so no, it is highly unlikely anything will happen to him. I suggest you avoid reporting someone unless it's for a legitimate reason.

I would hope I would think more if it was with the police... but then again I never thought I would have to post a dicussion on taking back a report I made on a good friend.

im adding my own thoughts on the situation as ive seen this happen on the forums quite often.

i am allowed to freely post in any thread i would like. you can not force me to stop. so please dont ask me to.
