Buying a bundle when you already have some of the included titles

I tried searching for this but couldn't find my exact situation. I'm looking to buy the Fallout bundle that includes GOTY/DLC sets for everything from F1 to F4, but I've already got Fallout: New Vegas vanilla. I was told I wouldn't be able to claim this one title when I purchased it, and I really don't mind, but I'd like to get the DLC. It seemed worded at the store page that I wouldn't get anything for F:NV since I already had the base game. Did it mean that I wouldn't get the base game but recieve all the DLC as I already had the base game?

You won't get another copy of the base game Fallout: New Vegas, you wil get an upgrade to the Ultimate Edition and DLC.

Yeah, I picked up the bundle and got all the DLC but not an extra copy of the base game. Usually though, when you have access to the community market and you make a purchase like this, does it take the extra titles and add them to your inventory to be gifted to whomever whenever? Or are they paid for and lost?

You don't get any extra copies in your inventory, except for the few cases listed here:
