Steam Group Voice Chat and Text to Speech Help

So am figuring out with the group chat how my friends and I who usually use a voice chat program in our guild can talk together when we're using Steam and not Ventrilo but one of us uses text-to-speech usually and I was wondering if there was any functionality like that on Steam for us.
