Unable to redeem a gift
I received a gift but it doesn't allow me to accept the gift. It says:
"Unable to add the gift to your library. The gift may have already been redeemed. Please try again later." but the game is not in my inventory. Any help with this issue?

Gifts no longer go to your inventory. They get redeemed at once when you press "Accept".
Its possible that its already in your library. Maybe you have set your library to only show installed games? Which game was it?

Shows I have a gift pending. Says "Status: Unredeemed". But when I click "Accept Gift" it says: "Unable to add the gift to your library. The gift may have already been redeemed. Please try again later." but the game is not in my inventory.

Yeah that sounds like a bug. Maybe try again later to accept it. The servers are still under heavy load because of the sale and a lot of functions are buggy or timing out.

Could be that the person who send it already revoked it to sent it to someone else (if it's a gift in the old style).

You could also get in contact with the friend who send you the gift if its still displayed as open on his end.

Talked to him last night and he had not revoked it. He told me to check with steam support.Will get in touch later to see what his account is showing.

steam support ticket

From me:
My friend gaf cannot redeem this gift. Only the price shows up in my gift inventory. I tried to resend it and got an error message. I have sent him multiple gifts in the past and never had a problem. Could you please help us with this issue?

Due to recent changes to the gifting process, gifts are now sent directly to the recipient’s account.

The gift will remain in your Steam Inventory until the recipient accepts or declines the gift. During this time, you won't have the option to activate or send the gift to another Steam user.

yes he recieved the gift, but can't download it.
We are trying to figure out why?
he gets an error of "gift might have been redeemed" or something like that.
He has a trouble ticket also, but idk the #

I guess I don't understand your answer to me.

When he asked for help, you told him to have me check on my end.

Additionally the game bundle is in my "gift inventory history" with no icon or text description.
The above attached files showed all of this including my paypal receipt.
