Steam client automation options
I have a bunch of students who want to play some steam games in a computer lab I do configuration on.

Are there any automation options so I could deploy the steam client, and the games via tool like system center configuration manager (sccm)?

Not really. Steam always requires user interaction. Well, user actions can be automatically simulated using tools like SikuliX or you can check out http://cafe.steampowered.com/
