Can Anyone Recommend a Good in Game Overlay?
Looking for a overlay where I can monitor my cpu, and gpu temperatures, fps, ram, etc.

I am currently trying out CAM but it seems the overlay doesnt work for all games

I used to use MSI afterburner, that is not a option anymore because RivaTuner doesnt run on my windows type, and I cannot find any fixes to that issue!

If you guys know anything else, that'd be awesome!

Windows 10 Educational doesn't mean anything; what version is the OS on and what Updates installed?

Check version with Winkey+R and type WINVER
The OS' Version + Build should be revealed this way.

Also check Windows Updates History.

What GPU brand do you have?

Ok then might I ask from what?
You seem to be aware of it to the point it's not working for you...
Care to share which update caused it? I mean seriously just remove that update then...

But IDK, I have quite a few different Chipsets here and it's working on them...
Haswell, KabyLake, Ryzen (AM4)...

Please know that uninstalling either of those; often times stuff is left behind.
Always check the original folders after rebooting; then flush junk and then clean registry, using CCleaner.
1 sec I will check
Windows 10 Version 1703 (OS Build 15063.540)
1703 was pushing to folks back around April ~ June...

So it must have been a certain smaller KB update from July or August then.

When's the last time you updated GPU Drivers? That might be playing a role as well.

Must be one of the updates on the 9th this months.

KB4034674 and KB4034662
A system update and a adobe flash update.

edit:
And a security update KB890830

390x XFX.

I don't think this is GPU related.

But still requires RivaTuner to enable in game overlay

Ok, uninstall MSI AB + RivaTuner; reboot; clean out the junk and ensure all those folders are gone.

Then try ASUS GPU Tweak II

You're looking at the wrong app. That one is dead.

MSI Afterburner + RivaTuner doesn't run on your Windows type? WTF does that mean?

CAM is worthless
