Age restriction check won't let me view any m-rated game

Whenever I get asked for my age and put a valid date it just resets the boxes to the current year.
Same applies to "Continue/Cancel" verification, it just gets stuck there.

What I tried to fix this:

• Went off-line and on-line again - didn't work
  
• Restart Steam - didn't work
  
• Restart the computer - didn't work
  
• Clear Internet Explorer browsing data - didn't work

This is the same for when I try to view the games in Firefox and even on the Steam app on Android, so this is not a problem with any of the above.
Please help, this has been going on for months and I haven't found any solution.

You could possibly hard-restart your computer by holding down your power button until it turns off.

Again, this is not a problem with my computer, this goes on even on the Android app, but thanks for the reply anyway

Problem solved

I tried turning off my router for 10 seconds, then turning it back on and now I can access the store normally.
