So install bootcamp, install Win10, and play all the games you want.

Download installer for "wine staging" 2.14
Run the pkg and check the box for 64 bit support
Make a new prefix, you cannot convert an existing 32 bit prefix to 64 bit.
Install steam as you did before.

I highly doubt Apple did away with it.
Still, Apple isn't going to give you a free Windows license.
