Steam Bootstrapper FIX!!! (Only works if you have BitDefender)

Do you have BitDefender and Steam doesn´t run because of some stupid bootstrapper?

If that´s the case then here´s the solution±

1. Start BitDefender
2. Switch autopilot off (Don´t worry it´s just temporarily)
3. Go to functions (underneath autopilot, it´s blue)
4. Switch off ´Advanced Threath Defense´
5. Update and login into steam
6. Switch Advanced Threath Defense on
7. Switch autopilot on

And you´re ready to go

(It will say there is danger or something but that´s probably because it thinks Steam is a virus)

No. Bitdefender is a program that interferes with Steam. It has been that way forever.

But then how come I have always been able to play and have BitDef on my pc as well, Sorry I´m just the worst when it comes to computers hehe

Not all users have issues the the program. It was listed as one of them that "may" interfere with Steam on their KB article before they updated it. They removed that portion from the KB article a month or 2 ago for some reason.

For ref; In my BitDefender window, under autopilot, it was shown as "View Features", everything else was the same.
