Do steam tell people the time CD-KEYS have been activated?
My friend has purchased some keys from G2A, they were not working and when he contacted the seller they provided a screenshot of supposedly someone from steam support (the email was covered) containing the activation times for the keys (supposedly).

I've been looking on steam support and can't find an option that describes that issue. I also can't even find an general enquiries email for steam so I don't know how he would contact them in the first place.

I'm just wondering if any of you know if this is possible and if so, the email by which I can contact steam. Thanks in advance.

No Support does not provide details like that and that shady site knows this.

I believe you can request the the username or something of the person who redeemed the keys. When activating them it pops up saying it's already been activated I believe there is something there that allows you to request the information. Not 100% on that though

All that does is send an email to the account the key is registered to.

is there any way I can get a steam official or someone from steam support to say this? I just need it in the counter case against this person, thanks.

What counter case ? you bought a shady CD key from a shady site. You need to take it up with that site you bought the CD key from. The CD key is fake or stolen from a legit user. Ask for your money back and don't ever buy from sites like this agian.

Just do a chargeback for your money and stop buying games from shady sites.
If you want to buy Steam keys use:
https://isthereanydeal.com/

All the shops listed there are authorized by the publishers and Steam to sell Steam keys.

It was G2A and the screenshot is good enough to convince the support people of G2A which is why I need to prove that the screenshot used is fake. A chargeback is possible but we would like to avoid a IP ban from G2A.

A: Stop circumventing the censorship. Its there for a reason that site is a known fraud site that sells stolen keys or keys bought with stolen credit cards.
B: Stop buying games from unauthorized resellers. Not only do you run the risk of you games getting revoked or not working, you also steal money from the publishers/developer because they dont see any of the money for a sale, unlike on a legit shop.
C: That shop knows EXACTLY that Steam does not provide that information. Thats why they ask you to get it. They dont want to give you the money back.
STOP BUYING AT FRAUD SHOPS

A: No, there may be feedback specific to the site that I miss out on if I don't include the name.
B: in no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way does that comment help in my situation, do I have a time machine to go back and not buy the game? No, so saying don't buy the game is not very ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ helpful is it?
C: I do believe the site is a little fraudulent but they have the cheapest prices.

About the developers: The money they get from steam more than pays for the development and in a world where devs only sell you 1/2 of the game and release the others as ♥♥♥♥♥♥ DLC, I don't feel 1% bad for taking their money as it's what they're doing to all of us every time they release a new cosmetic item pack or "DLC".

Also you saying "no help, you're screwed. kek" is stupid. I'm asking for help and posibly a steam contact email to fight this purchase (in paypal btw) and you're just talking ♥♥♥♥. Responding to you is a waste of my time. Please don't comment again unless it's constructive because I won't reply.

You dont get it do you? You are breaking the forum rules if you circumvent the censor.
Which can get you banned. Declaring " i dont care about the rules" is not a very smart thing to do if you want help from Steam.

Edit: Also there is no way to contact Steam Support with this topic because they do not help with any problem related to those scam sites. So you are on your own. I dont write this out of malice, its just the facts.

If you buy from a keystore, they usually ask for your license activation history, which you can access from your steam accounts, i bought from 7 different key stores before and when i had issues, they always asked for that license history.
The store your friend bought from was most likely fake and he got scammed.

That's a good point but i'm not sure that this applies in our situation

If you want you can add me and tell me the keystore in pm's, i know pretty much all of them.
