Voice communication not available for my account?

This is pretty much my first day playing on public matches and i tried asking for medic but it didn't work, then it said this help!

It's because of an update that screwed over everyone that got the game free. It's intended to take away the voice chat for select free accounts, this was the first attempt to stop the bot epidemic. Unfortunately, it revokes most of the talking rights to people who are real people. I guess you'll have to live with it for now...

The only place you can still talk and do voice chat is in community servers now.
