Can You Cash Out Your Steam Wallet?
Can You Cash Out Your Steam Wallet?
I have been on Steam for years now and I have never really got on to Steam Market selling (ex.CSGO Skins) Items I've bought from games I have played. Recently I've been really invested into Steam Marketing since this whole quarantine got me bored, I made some cash by selling them which been stored on to my Steam Wallet , however, I'm asking if there is a way too withdrawn or cash out from Steam into Paypal, G2A PAY, etc. since by the looks of it there no way to cash out from Steam itself straight away into a bank account.

By third-party? Is it safe? Can you only cash out a certain amount?

Thank you.

No, absolutely not. That store credit that’s in your account’s wallet actually belongs to Valve, not you, and you can only spend it here.

No.
Using third party sites is at your own risk.

Steam wallet funds are just virtual cash. They are locked to the Steam platform and your account and cannot be 'cashed out' in any way. When you buy wallet funds either as a gift card or through here, you are exchanging real money which is then banked and in return, you are getting the equivalent of store credit. This is not legal tender and it cannot be extracted out of here in any way.

I know this is late but technically you could buy steam hardware from the store using credits and then sell it online. Problem is: The cheapest hardware is not gonna get bought (nobody likes steam link or controller) and the rest is >300$.

There are only 2 types of hardware on Steam now, Index and Deck. Cheapest Deck is $400 not including taxes, shipping and the fact you can't just get one whenever you want, yet. The Index, even just the Headset is $500 including taxes and shipping. Both of these are limited to select regions as well.

The only thing is that you can buy games for friends and gift them. Then the friend gives you real money.

This might not always work. Buying gifts with wallet funds is restricted to prevent commercial activity.

By the way, this thread is already quite old. I don't think the OP cares anymore.

And those kind of trades are not supported on Steam.
Also why did you Necro a 2 year old thread?

More like 3.5 years.

Hikari was counting from the LAST necro, I would do that too.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
