Learn it. It's a cool skill and learning a programming language in 2020 isn't the worst of ideas.

Where do you want the link? I can write javascript. Is this for a website, is this to have the link on steam itself?

I want to put it on my steam profile summary, where when I click "ᴍʏ ᴘʀᴏꜰɪʟᴇ" it will automatically copy the link on my profile.

you cannot add javascript to your profile. Though you can write hyperlinks on steam itself using steams formatting. For example:

Hyperlink Text

The code above when put on your profile will look like this: Hyperlink Text

You cannot have this copy automatically when clicked though, it will just open your profile.

Well, here's where knowing some web stuff may come in helpful: it's entirely possible to embed JS within hyperlinks in HTML, but Steam ain't using HTML.

Having skill in web development comes in handy for general browsing too, it gives you the ability to understand certain errors you may come across while browsing and allow you to get around those issues some times.

A good portion of steam is using HTML on some of the sections on steam such as the library, points page and the friends list. Though the rest of it is yet to do so though i assume it will in the near future.

I went to city hall once and walked past office# 404. My first thought was "Welp, nobody's there".

Well, there's also that hotel hallway with rooms numbered "418 no smoking" and "419 no smoking" and "420" and "421 no smoking" and so on :D
