Uncategorized games are not mine
For some reason the uncategorized games tab is showing a hundred or so games that are not mine. They are not even on my wishlist. I'm new to steam as well and have a small library.

are you using Steam on a computer where someone else also has a Steam account (like you share a computer with your partner/parent/sibling)? Or on a public computer? Or on a computer you bought second-hand (so it used to belong to someone else)?

No this is only my steam account, brand new. This computer is not shared. I built this computer with brand new part a few weeks ago. My actual games list is correct, but on the side the uncategorized is a bunch of other games mixed in with my own.

Can you say the name of some of those games listed but that you do not own?

Also for your Library are you displaying just Games or Games and Tools?

Lots of Tools can show up in Library of even stuff you do not own, tho it's not really games. Like "Dedicated Server" stuff and "Source SDK".

Yes I do see a lot of game tools like Americas army 3 dedicated server, and source sdk, unreal dev kit, but there is also games such as modern warfare 3, resident evil 6, asseto corsa which arent even in my library or wishlist.

I just had this happen to me today. I've been using Steam for 10 years and have never had this happen before. Is there any way to delete them? Or am I forced to just hide them, because there are a TON of them, and it makes the list a bit of a struggle to sift through.

Every account has these tools. Uncheck the Tools filter in the Games drop down menu above the game list on the left.
