cant remove country from profile??

because it's a necessary part of your profile?
once you add one you can never remove it.

I've read that by going into Big Picture Mode and editing your profile there that you can still remove the country.

tested it, doesn't work.

I just tried it. In regular mode, I set US as country and saved the profile and confirmed that US displays on my profile. I put Steam in BPM and edited my profile there. There are no locations to choose from. I hit the dropdown menu for them all and they are all blank. I scrolled down to SAVE and saved the profile. Exited BPM and went back to regular. Reloaded profile and the US was gone.
