Steam downloading absurdly slow

Last night I started downloading Destiny 2, about 90 gigabytes of data. Worked decently well, downloading at around 15-20 mb/s. Left my pc on overnight, when I left it was 30% done. Came back this morning and it was only at 50% with a 230 KB/s average.

Checked my task manager- disk usage was capping at 8%, which from checking steam, was the thing limiting my download. Set steam to high priority, changed download location, nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

If you don't use Ethernet the problem is most likely the wifi

Wifi is definately not the problem. I don't use ethernet, but I checked my download speeds with speedtest.net and they were again, 25 mb/s.

I am having this problem too. I know for sure it is not my wifi or disk usage. I can use any other game launcher such as Origin, and Battle.net and I get my normal speeds just fine. Steam is 500kb/s. What the heck?
