Game does not seem to be in Steam Point Store

Hi everyone

In the Points Shop I'm unable to search/filter for one of my games, as it does not appear in the search results.
The game is "Oblivious Garden ~ Carmina Burana"
If I put the game ID in the URL I get a page but there is nothing listed.

Is this a glitch or has the developer just not put the items in the point score? Is there any way of accessing them, I would like one of the backgrounds.

Not all games have stuff in the points shop yet and some developers may choose not to do this. Also games need to be played for 2 hours before things can be obtained.

Thanks, presumably in this case the developers have not added the items for the point shop.
Hopefully it's something they add before the end of the summer sale although there's only a few days left.

There's no rush though. The point shop is here to stay. Only the golden skin will be removed till the next sale if anything.

As said above, the Points Shop is a permanent addition to Steam and unrelated to the summer sale. More items will be added in due course too.

mmh. not quite. It happened at exactly the same time and it's absolutely not a coincidence. It's a kind of incentive to spend. Another example: the gems which are a pure product of the winter sales 2014. In others words, all of their new feature concerning trading between two concepts happens during a sale.

It's a standalone feature that was just introduced during the sale. When the sale ends in 2 days, the points shop remains. It may house some event items but this was clearly something planned for the long term and was only introduced during the sale to gain maximum impact. I say this because many users still think the shop disappears on Thursday.

Can I please also clarify - will we still get points for buying games after the Steam sale ends? Or will we only be able to spend the points we acquired during the Steam sale.

Yes you will - the points shop feature is intended to be a permanent fixture for the Steam platform and as you can only earn points by making purchases in the Steam Store, it's safe to say they'll be here as long as the points store is.
