It's better to use your wishlist to reference games you want to come back to later. They don't expire there.
Tho carts shouldn't expire.
And yeah, cookies. I wonder if the cart informations were written in the DB instead than in a cookie if it would make shopping experience better?
Don't think that i make that suggestion out of empty knowledge of how Steam works. It works bad.
For example, right then, i wanted to chose if i would buy metro exodus or not, so i would've put it on the save-for-later and proceed with the items i wanted to buy that day.
Next time i'll take a screenshot of my cart.
Not very practical but it's the only way not to get lost in the thousands of items i have wishlisted.
Life isn't long enough to play thousands of games. Prune.
It's not luxury to have a cart that's memory lasts longer.
