Is it not possible to embed pictures into a steam guide?

I'm trying to make a guide for Monster Train and it's literally all in picture format. I tried every html code in the book and nothing shows up when I preview it. It's just a link. Is there any cheap way around this?

I had no problems,
The steps are self explainatory. Start the guide then follow the steps.
Have the images you want to use in a folder on desktop.
Then bowse to image and upload it to that section.

You're not doing it right.
You have to upload all images on "Guide Contents" page.
Then when you're writing guide you'll have all your uploaded images on the right side.
Just click on image and choose size and alignment.
