How to have Steam read old library on HDD from SSD?
So I cut and pasted my old games library when I decided to get an SSD and have Steam and select games on it, but I haven't found a way to have the current Steam on HDD read the file on HDD to have the games show up on my library.

Any easy way to have it set up?

Can't have a full folder when creatin new library. So if youwant it named the way you have it rename it to Steamapps_old or something.

Steam > Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders > Create new library on the drive you want to use

Close Steam

Can either cut and paste everythingg into new folder or just delete the new folder and rename the
_old folder to what the new library folder was.

Load Steam and it should auto detect games installed

Easiest way would just be to add it as a Steam Library Folder.
Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders > Add Library Folder > Find the drive/folder you want to add.
Steam should detect the games on the drive and add them in as long as the folders are setup correctly.

Yeah tried something like this, but managed to ♥♥♥♥ up the original Steam uninstall manually instead of using Steam tools so I need to download all my games again, but helped me to find the download folder creation thanks.
