Unsure how to turn on the option to request a two factor authentication code again

I must have disabled this at some point but when logging into steam it no longer requests my two factor authentication code I have on my steam app for security I was looking to turn this back on but I haven't been able to find the option can anyone direct me to where this is? Thank you.

strange I only have the get steam backup codes option the remove steam authenticator option and the deauthorize all other devices option

Have you ticked the box that gets Steam to remember your login details? That removes the need to use a 2FA code on that machine.
