Simply put, you won't see the refund because you weren't charged.
No you're not stupid. But some times people make assumptions, miss details, or don't really understand the system they're dealing with. So it's important to cross out all those things, even if it's just an exercise where the person confirms they've done them.
you see money missing from your account, but do you see a Steam Purchase for Assassins Creed on your bank’s website?
Is that what you mean when you say you “see what’s missing”?
Or are you saying you see your account is short money that you believe is because of Assassins Creed?
i believe you do not see a +added money to your account credit from Steam to your bank account. But do you see a -negative amount of money that specifically says it went to Steam?
Like if you look back on May 3rd on your online bank website, do you see a purchase still for Assassins Creed? If you ask your bank if they see a purchase to Steam on May 3rd for the amount of the game?
Don’t ask if they see a Refund. Ask if your bank sees the purchase deduction at all.
BTW : When i bought Little Nightmares, 13.87 TL withdrawn from my account. When i refund and take my money back, they refund just 11.88 TL. This is not a big deal actually. Maybe just because of exchange rate differences. But seems interesting.
Anyway i still have a problem with steam about AC: ODYSSEY refund. Saying again : My bank isn't holding the money. Money we are talking about wasted. Money withdrawn from my bank.
What i found on my bank and on my steam acc;
03/05/2020-08:22:54 AM This is when purchase completed according to my bank and it is true.
4 May @ 11:42 AM and this is what steam says. "Returned"
E-mails;
5/3/2020 6:17 PM this is an e-mail from steam says "Your refund request has been received."
5/4/2020 11:42 AM and this says "Your purchase has been returned by Steam."
Steam thinks that my bank is holding the money idk why exactly. I am sure my bank is not holding the money. System doesn't work that way. When you buy something, our banks immediately send the money to seller (in this situation Steam). That's why i have provision code and reconciliation code in my bank. This 2 code proves everything.
"If they would fail, we would have thousands of complains by now." Yeah you are right. But isn't there a problem that you experience with a popular brand?

First one is much easier to read, but Wikipedia's more detailed if this is what gets your motor running.

This is a site where you can write about your complains. They have exactly same problem. Although it has been a long time, there are many Turkish people who could not get their money back. Like me they didn't get their money back. Only cheap returns are taking place, like Little Nightmares.
I will inform you when they reply.
