Rome: Total War Gold Edition

Hey gang- I've recently made a computer upgrade and want to get back into some light gaming in my free time. I bought a 2019 27 inch iMac and intend to download Windows 10 using Boot Camp. From what I've seen from gamers that use Boot Camp, it seems the performance is great when using the correct settings, but I'm mostly concerned with how a 32-bit game will run on a 64-bit OS.

I know this isn't really news for anyone, but back in the good ole days Rome: Total War was available on the App Store for Mac computers, and now that the Catalina iOS is out the game has been removed from sale since it's 32-bit and isn't supported by the new iOS. I've reached out to Feral on whether they'd come out with a 64-bit version, and while they said they "intend on coming out with a 64-bit version" they still have no news of it, and from what I understand that was the same stance they had several months ago when Catalina came out. I haven't gotten the new iMac yet but this news has kept me up at night because I was beyond excited to see how the game would look and perform on a brand new desktop, and now I'm afraid other older games I intend to play may not even work due to them being 32-bit still.

Here are my questions: 1) does Rome: Total War work well on the 64-bit version of Windows 10 install from Boot Camp, 2) if it doesn't work well (crashes or glitches too much to where it's unplayable) will it work on the 32-bit version of Windows 10, 3) if I download the 32-bit version of Windows 10 what will I be sacrificing (decreased performance, ability to play 64-bit games, etc.) 4) how much space should I dedicate to Boot Camp (I only plan to download a handful of games, maybe more than 5 but definitely no more than 10, most will be older titles that were released in early-to-mid 2000s)?

I'm not very knowledgeable of all this stuff so I apologize for any redundant questions/information. Also, in case it matters, here are the specs for my iMac:

3.7GHz 6-core 9th-gen i5 Intel processor

8GB RAM (will upgrade to 40GB with extra RAM from Amazon)

Radeon Pro 580x with 8GB GDDR5

2TB Fusion Drive (has 128GB of SSD according to Apple)
