Account name used in games and not my profile name

Hey, in some games my account name is displayed (what other players can see me by) instead of my profile name, which I want to be displayed by in game; can I change this? Thanks.

Ask the developers/players of said game in their game forum.

PUBG, you can't. That is why a mod moved it to that forum.

when in game press SHIFT+TAB -> options ,and change your name to OTHER than your login

You speak of the game account name, not steam account name?

The steam account name is what you login with. The profile name is the name shown in the forum.

Yeah, my account name is shown in game and not my profile name

Did you choose that name when creating the account for pubg?
Normally the steam log in name is to be kept unseen.
